Shine a Light – National Foster and Kinship Care Conference 2017
The 2017 National Foster & Kinship Care Conference promised to Shine a Light, and it did. This conference brought together 700 foster and kinship carers, young people, sector colleagues and other experts such as researchers and childhood professionals from across Australian and the globe.
This conference explored evidence informed practice as well as sharing the practical wisdom of caring.
A trade exhibition supported the conference, which also showcased numerous keynote presentations, 10 parallel sessions and a gala dinner.
